Overview
Jeannie Norris was stepping down as Headmaster of Miss Hall’s School in Pittsfield, MA – a leading private boarding school for girls. She wanted to compile decades of articles she had written about educating girls into a book.
Challenge
Creating a book is a daunting process. We worked closely with Jeannie and her editor to streamline the process of communicating and revising.
Solution
Using online publishing site Lulu.com, we were able to provide rapid prototype books and cover variants for the client and her editor to review. The quick turnaround and low cost of the Lulu.com service meant that we moved much more quickly from draft galleys to a physical book in look, feel and form enabling the client to move towards final publication with confidence. The final product was printed with traditional offset in significant quantities for distribution and sale.
