Studio Two launches new brand and website for “The Secret Corner” of North West CT
Lenox, MA – Studio Two is pleased to announce the launch of a new brand, website and marketing strategy for the North West Corner of Connecticut. Designated as the “Secret Corner” the marketing initiative was sponsored by the Northwestern Connecticut Regional Planning Collaborative (http://nwctplanning.org/) and is designed to market the towns of Canaan, Cornwall, Falls Village, Goshen, Kent, Lakeville, Norfolk, Salisbury, and Sharon to visitors year-round.
A new website for the region was launched officially on Septmber 20, 2012 with a reception at Tri-Arts Playhouse in Sharon, CT. The site is visible at http://discovernwct.com/ and provides resources and information on the region and the towns as well as original photography and video of the region by Studio Two principal Kevin Sprague. A 30-second commercial spot highlighting the launch and the brand was prepared as well and can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWr9AgT7jEg . The brand for the Secret Corner is highlighted by a new circular logo that is prepared in a variety of typographic treatments and colors to illuminate the diverse characteristics of the region. Attention-grabbing language with a bit of “tongue-in-cheek” humour highlights the hip, scenic and adventurous offerings of the region and is used extensively on the website. Additional collateral elements including signage, co-branding icons, buttons, t-shirts and brochures have been designed to enhance and promote the brand.
