For the last 2 months we’ve been working with one of our favorite long-term clients – Artist Sol Schwartz. We just published his third book – Connections in Line – as part of his opening of a show in the President’s Gallery at Mass College of Art and Design (www.massart.edu). We also worked extensively with Sol and MassART on the show itself – the environmental graphics, invitations and promotions, and a short video about Sol’s working methods that shows in the gallery (see below). Sol is a fantastic artist – the more so because his drawings are so often created in the dark at the venues he works in – drawing instinctively but from deep experience his works are evocative, emotional and lively.
